Amenities & Services

Five waterfront cottages, one exceptional experience: hot tubs, free dockage, canoes, kayaks and pet-friendly stays on the St Lawrence River.
What's Included
Every Watermark cottage comes fully equipped so you can focus on enjoying the Thousand Islands from the moment you arrive. From private hot tubs and waterfront access to complimentary canoes and kayaks, everything you need for a luxury stay on the St Lawrence River is already included.
Our Amenities

Waterfront Access
All five Watermark cottages sit directly on the St Lawrence River, with no roads, no public access and no shared shoreline between you and the water. What that means in practice is a private dock at your door, a sheltered swimming area with a floating raft, and direct launch access for the canoe and kayak included with your stay. Whether you want to swim out to the raft in the morning, paddle along the shoreline at your own pace, or simply sit on the dock and watch the boats pass through the Thousand Islands, the water is yours for the duration of your stay.
Pet Friendly Cottages

Watermark Cottages welcomes dogs as part of the family, not as an afterthought. All five cottages are pet-friendly, the grounds are spacious and right on the water, and the surrounding area has some of the best dog-friendly trails and parks in the region. We provide complimentary pet towels and food and water bowls on request, and there is no need to leave your dog behind to enjoy a luxury stay on the St Lawrence River. A modest pet fee per stay applies to keep the cottages in great condition for all guests.
Free Dockage

If you're arriving by boat, Watermark Cottages is one of the few places on the St Lawrence River where docking is completely free for guests. While nearby marinas charge between $60 and $100 per night just to tie up, your slip is included with your stay at no extra cost. Pull up directly to the dock, unload your gear, and walk straight into your cottage. From there, the entire Thousand Islands is your playground, with Boldt Castle, Singer Castle, Gananoque, Rockport and Alexandria Bay all accessible by water. No marina queues, no nightly fees, and your boat stays right where you can see it.
Hot Tubs

Every Watermark cottage has its own private hot tub, included in your stay with no shared access and no booking required. It is yours for the full duration of your visit, whether you want a morning soak before breakfast, a late-night dip under the stars, or somewhere to settle after a day out on the water. The combination of a private hot tub and direct waterfront access is genuinely rare in the Thousand Islands, and it is one of the reasons guests come back to Watermark year after year.
